amazing. you wrote an anti war/social justice song. pink pop star wrote a good social justice and anti war song. fucking pete segerish bob dylan social justice /anti war song but pink pop, reaching how many fans? reaching potentially how many young people? the question is not why are you so wildly popular in australia and europe. you are wildly popular because you are a dazzling talent, a magnetic rock star with a sharp mind and a rocking sense of humor every bit as brilliant as robin williams or ANY professional comedian in that stratosphere. it is easy to answer that question. but it is the wrong question. the question is why are you not as well known in the states. i am oldish (dated by the pete segar and bob dylan comment) and i'm real, real oblivious and self absorbed, but up until one week ago i have never known who you were. never even heard of you. ok, old and oblivious, i know, but the reason you are not promoted is because of this song combined who you are and how you can potentially reach other minds around you. you scared the shit out of the 1%, or the establishment. (u are not in the 1% because you earned your money fair and square and you contribut brilliantly to society by paying a rich share of your earnings in taxes. you are a contributor, a strong one. unfortunately ur handsome contributions are being misapproriated by being used to fuel an evil war...but i am digressing from my point). the reason why you are not as well known here is because you scared the shit out of them, and you have been very deliberately not promoted the way you should have been. that is the sort of power 'they' have. you have deliberately not been promoted, your voice deliberately supressed. higher ups in your industry colluded with the establishment (a collusion of corrupt government and souless corporations) to keep you as silenced as humanly possible despite your insurmountable popularity, rock star charisma, staggering talent and a sense of humor from the moon. you are a relative pop star 'underdog' because of this song. it is so worth it. keep scaring the shit out of them. you have amazing potential to change the world for the better. you are breathtaking. next time someone asks you why are you so popular in australia, just realize the real question is why are you not as popular here in the USA. i know i sound like a paranoid schizophrenic but i am right. it is because of this song, what you are saying plus the attitude with which you are saying it. you were deliberately undermined and excluded because of the tenor of this song. i mean i know other pop stars, at least who they are. i stand in supermarket lines just like anyone else. your voice has deliberately been surpressed.

Ok here goes, so a few years back was listening to some alternative radio online (can't for the life of me remember what the station was called). Anyway one night they played this great track which at the time I was able to find on youtube. I have tried several times over the last couple of years to find the song but no luck.It had a bongo drum (or similar ) intro which played through out the track and a great lyric over the top, something like "are we blindly sleepwalking into a totalitarian state are we blinding sleepwalking or are we just tempting fate"I have tried all the usual places google, the hard to find song sites, my youtube history etc.. But I just can't find it anywhere. It's a long shot with not a huge amount to go on I know but does anyone know this song? It's driving me crazy not being able to find it, sorry I can't remember the title of the track or who it was by, really helpful aren't I?Anyways I will throw this out there, if anyone ca help I would really appreciate it.
