When he adds his style to the blues, it doesn't sound right, or soulful for that matter. Besides, the 3-note-per-string shred deal doesn't work in blues - no matter who plays it. Him, Yngwie, Gilbert: all great at what they do, but unconvincing at blues...

Those are DMT Design pickups. I assume they are based on USA DMT "Nostalgia" (found in more expensive Cadillacs), which are vintage style pickups with low output.

I really hate Batio's solos, am I really the only one? He's amazingly talented, and can shred like a mother-fucker, but it all sounds so out of place and badly constructed. 1:15 is the peferfect example of this. He is a great show-off, one of the best in the world and I sit here in awe, but musically his solos are bollocks, don't fit and basically painful to listen to. Back me up here....

yeah, i have this too and im going to change the pickups.. they sound to .. weak imo. probably fit it with some blackouts.

I got this guitar about a year ago. Fucking amazing guitar imo! I'm going to change the pickups, but apart from that it's as good as it gets for me. :)
