One of the things they wanted was to deconstruct a band favorite in their cover song, Elijah said(Mitch Schneider Organization Article.)"We like the idea of spinning some musical heritage into a modern record and making it sound like it belongs there," Blue confides. "I welcome that challenge." Still, he jokes, "We included more Indian instruments on there than Brian Jones did -- that's live harmonium, tambour and sarongi."

A display of true unusual dedication in today's music world, this band took the unprecedented step of actually making personal phone calls to their fans termed "Legions," during their Tour.

In addition to meeting countless fans and loyal supporters for hours for autographs, poster and CD signings, and posing for photos.

The lead singer and lead guitarist is Elijah Blue Allman, stage name P. Exeter Blue I, for the rock band Deadsy which consists of Alec Pure on drums, Dr. Nner on synthesizer, Carlton Megalodon on Z-tar, and Jens Funke on bass. Elijah, who recently embarked on a promising solo career, is deserving of much praise for being born to celebrities CHER and Gregg Allman but not letting that status keep him from being considerate, responsible, personable, and conscientious.

He has overcome many obstacles, including people who credited his success merely due to his background, creating this band on his own, with a very determined, unselfish work ethic and spirit.

Before his band DEADSY was born, I saw him, at age 14, play with CHER in Salem, Oregon. It poured down rain the entire time, but he never stopped once or even flinched or looked unhappy.

Incredible spirit and determination.

Deserving of his recent success.

Remarkable song and awesome solo demos.

D E A D S Y TIL WE DIE PART 2

Elijah Blue Allman: Guitar/Vocals

Carlton Megalodon: Z-tar/Guitar

Dr. Nner: Synthesizers

Alec Pure: Drums

Creature: Bass

The four-hour drive one way was worth it, originally in fear & loathing in Las Vegas. The city of Cabazon was amazing. Set amongst the palms and hills of the San Fernando Valley's grassy, mountains, brown from the sun, near resort towns Indio and Palm Springs.

The Morongo Indian Casino with the brand new stage venue, Key Club.

A gorgeous, unique, circular casino with three floors.

The view was incredible at varying levels.

Not as incredible as D E A D S Y though.

Opening for She Wants Revenge.

D E A D S Y's intensity and rhythmic beat, held the audience

captivated, head-bangin', keepin' time.

Their graciousness to Legion's and the willingness of band members and friends to pose for photos was appreciated, being imitated by others in the industry more lately. (Indeed, their style is unique. I will never forget how Creature gave me a personal call at home to thank me for the support as part of a call the fans, campaign).

Alec Pure, in particular, was very energetic and unusually eager to pound his drums to new highs with his fabulous style, right on track and in sync with the light show, always polite and professional.

Expert, task-master, Elijah's haunting refrains, leading the way in his awesome Wuthering Heights style, with well-pronounced and amazing recollection of his original, complicated lyrics in front of the maddening crowd, once again remarkable.

Dr. Nner's hair looked blonder and shinier than ever as he used his synthesizer and keyboards to continue to add the captivating harpsichord melodies of old favorites like "Mansion World."

Carlton was alert and in perfect harmony as usual. He and Claudia, of the band Lunar Click, always extremely sincere and considerate, their

sense of fashion style, appreciated and amazing.

Creature's performance & style was noticeably missing due to a bad broken finger, so another bass guitarist played in his stead.

The bands performance, clearly dynamic, even led to a brief chorus of

"D E A D S Y" resonating from the floor. From a sophisticated audience,

refreshing to contribute to this promulgation. The only concern I had was it was tough to hear the vocals because the music seemed louder.

Highly recommended pre-Halloween musical experience, a lasting memory.

The Captian Morgan black advertisement went great with this video. Damn, my old comment is still here where I used "still" instead of Steal. lol. Well, I might as well do something new, guess I'll subscribe.
