While I prefer Bat I and II over Dead Ringer, the later is underrated. I just wish they had not used Cher for Dead Ringer for Love. I would have preferred they used Ellen Foley again, or even Karla DeVito.

funny you say that! since i was 2 my favorite song has been "bat out of hell" the kindergarten teacher asked the class what their favorite songs were everyone was saying things like "row row row your boat" and stuff like that... i said "bat out of hell" and the teacher called my parents LOL

Bought this album at Woolco's bargain bin. Didn't know anything on it, but thought what the hell, I was a huge Bat out of Hell fan. Played the shit out of it!! Whenever I get pissed off or frustrated I would crack a beer and play this at full volume!!!! The backup vocals are the best! the guitars are fucking kick ass! I didn't even know Davey Johston played on this till I saw this!!! That whole album is fucking great and so underrated! But maybe that's why I love it so much.

I don't think you can beat Bat Out Of Hell to be honest. Bat 2 came close. But definitely this is underrated. Peel out is fantastic. I'm gonna love her is probably unlike anything meat has ever, or will ever sing again. The lyrics are just mental, but absolutely hilarious. More Than You deserve is just beautiful, as is read 'em and weep, and I love te lyrics to I'll kill you. So sensationally human. I hate you, but I can't bear to leave you... And Dead Ringer for Love is pretty damn awesome too.

I agree the "Dead Ringer" album is better than "Bat Out Of Hell" imho....You won't find Meat Loaf pushing his voice to the limit like this on any other project.
