This video is recorded in the 'Goffertstadion', during the half time break of the derby match N.E.C. - Vitesse.

De Staat (from Nijmegen, The Netherlands) was invited by their home team N.E.C. to come and play at this important match, because guitarist/synthesizer-man Rocco wore a N.E.C. cap in the TV show 'De Wereld Draait Door' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbsNopjOz1k).

De Staat, being supporters of the club, happily accepted the invitation to play and support N.E.C. who hadn't won this season, and were at the lowest position of the Eredivisie league.

Down Town is taken from the album I_CON by De Staat. The song is selected for the official playlist of the football game FIFA '14.
