I hope you are doing well to this day, I understand you, you saw them as your older brothers in christ didn't you? When they separated you question your faith, I have felt the same when looking at some preachers that have gone astray, but God doesn't want that for you, sometimes we forget who we are after and we just keep our eyes in who is in front of us like me on those preachers and you on the singing group, they may still be following God, but they splitting was for the best, many others were looking at them instead of God, this kind of situations are meant to reaffirm who we are after not to knock us down, if you have gotten to the point of doubting God's existence, think back and try to remember if you have ever been on his presence, if not, just do a simple pray, and ask him to please help you believe, that you want to believe, He loves you so much he is gonna help you find Him, if you seek Him you will find Him, take care

I am a high IQ Christian and I am very much a scientifically oriented person. I examined the scientific and philosophical arguments and evidence for and against god and it has all supported my faith and my decision to believe in god. However, as of late, I have been drawn to wanting to have an atheistic viewpoint, not because I believe it is correct in any manner, but because it is easier, allows man more control, and because it allows for vices that as a christian I know are wrong. I ask for my fellow believers to offer advice and prayer as I move from my (relatively) sheltered nineteen year old high school life into the real world, prayer that in college I will not be led astray, and that I will be able to drop my current vices. thank you.
