First time I have listened to Dayshell in while, finally not sad that Shayley left OM&M - glad he is happy and in such a good place :) 

The Light That Paints

Funny really, in neat contrast to many of the OM&M fans here; I utterly hated every single OM&M song except for My Understandings (which I consider one of my favourite songs ever). I heard My Understandings once and loved it so I flicked through their entire Spotify catalogue and wow, I was amazed at how awful I found it all. That scream style he used was appalling! It's like birds screeching.However, Dayshell is a recent find of mine and they've jumped to the top of my favourites list! So I for one won't be mourning the singer's change of band. :')Thank you for your time.

shay was one of the main reasons om&m stood out, you can hear his original writing style in this song alone. without him om&m is just another generic rock band. restoring forces riffs were weak compared to the flood and og album, and I personally think aaron is an awful fit and stage presence for them. shays clean vocals shit on that fat gingers any day.

This is just sad that so-called "fans" can't stand it when people want to change things. I still love OM&M but I think Shayley is much better in Dayshell!

Haha damn guys, you all sound like the fan girls whining about Danny Worsnop leaving asking Alexandria. But guess what? He left to go do his own thing in a different band, as for shayley. Yeah maybe you don't agree with it but it happened. When you get a magical genie and three wishes then you can change them back. But if you love these people so much then why crave to change them so much anyway? You're not supposed to change people you love, so just calm down and accept them for their choices.
