I love Days of the New, since I first heard them on the radio back in the late 90s. I loved the idea of the original reunion tour, all the videos (including this one) I can get into, and feel the music. But at the same time, I don't understand what gives the other band members the right to just up and quit the band, and leave Travis in a difficult situation.Especially the post they posted afterwards which they then took down, throwing him under the bus, saying he begged them to join. The fans came to those shows to see all 4 of yall, and the reality is, without Travis, and without Hugo, the other three members really haven't had much success other than local success, so I don't see what gives them the right to be all dramatic and ruin the show and ruin the whole fucking tour. I'm just glad that Travis is continuing on and has found new members.

Well at least they tried to have a reunion tour, now if only the ORIGINAL Tantric could get back together that would be awesome! and Hugo would not freak out.

There were problems with the sound from the start, and Travis was angry. There were not very many people there and it is not a nice place. You could feel the tension. The show actually got better as it went on, more music and less rhetoric. The other 3 guys soldiered on, playing great as usual but they also appeared frustrated or unhappy imo. There were about 12 songs on the setlist which we could see on stage. Touch Peel and Stand was 8th and after the song Jessie took the mike and said something like "you have witnessed something special. that is the last song Days of the New will play together".I had met Jessie, Todd, and Matt at a hotel the day after the Chicago show, and they were all really cool. I had a chance to say hi to Todd again after this show and he was really kind and gracious again. Great guys.

apparently 6 songs in, they took the mic from him and the band broke up right then and there. what a shame, Travis is a genius but even cats only have 9 lives.
