dont be scared of evolutoin. the new school has its place. those clinging to the old school need to put away their fear of actual talent taking over the scene. i was a teenager when dayglow came out with feed us a fetus. mostly joke songs, but great nonetheless. born and raised punkrock since 1970 mutha fuckas!!! btw it was NOFX who grandfathered the newschool punkrock sound, and if you dont like them, well... i would imagine that youre probably not really a punkrocker at all.

@vylkyl while I, too, hate shitty nu-school pansy "punk", and agree that a lot of the best hc is from the early 80's, I think good music is relatively timeless and know a hell of a lot of current hardcore bands that could give the first and second wave bands a good run for their money.
