@Cherrypoppins18 I thin it rather deals with people abusing religion for own purpose. The lyrics do not blame God but people abusing the belief and trust in him. But probably the band itself will know better what they mean :)

@evilbobath Well yes, it does deal with a belief and questioning it, but it also views religion in a negative light, i.e. "killing, fighting, dying, trying, all seems right in the name of god-what if the laws are just a result of human fear, and evidence of such blank incapacity-our race is cursed for all eternity" If this band still believes in god (I doubt it), it obviously doesn't care for organized religion.
