@tommyXBOX360 a slam is "death metal's" way slowing down the music a little bit not as slow as a breakdown and they usualy use the electric guitar with a slam rather than the bass like at 0:40 thats a slam see how it's different to the rest of the song but than theres breakdowns which are different a slam is sort of a more relaxing sound but goes better with the music breakdown sounds more like there banging the guitar and usualy is slower only found is slam death/core genres
