I don't see what's with this hipster 80's craze. Hell, back in the 80's there were still plenty of subliminal messages in music that the little hipster kids like to complain about. The music of the 60's and earlier is a lot cleaner, and it shows.

When this song came out, I had a 13-year old cousin who was older than her years. Precocious and highly sexual. For example, she tried to crawl in bed with me one Thanksgiving morning when I'd stayed over due to snow. Other times, out at the grandparents, we'd all watch TV and Dawn liked to sit on my lap and writhe around with a rapt expression. I think she got off a couple of times. Well, I avoided her like the pox. I could just imagine her with a bun in the oven while still in high school and I'd have to face the outraged family. Still, it would have been nice.
