This was probably one of the first times they performed since Davy died so I'm sure it was really hard. Love the Monkees especially Micky!

BTW, I never noticed how Micky has a touch of Opera Tenor in those high notes.

All the people close to davy should feel happy and blessed that they were in his life during these last years. Nobody told me that when i was 10 my grand mother would die young, I was so lucky to spend lots oftime with her and visit her when she lived near us. 3 Monkees is now like a chair with one leg missing now it a 3-legged stool that dhouldn't wabble. Thank you Davy for what you gave us in just 66 years.

I feel the same way..and it's still hard to believe...I wonder if he even knew he had heart problems. I think he was the youngest of them and quickness of it all came as a shock to us all that adored him. Makes one wonder about their own mortality...

Watching this seriously broke my heart. I'm one of those "80's kids" that later learned to appreciate the Monkees - and to see someone as comical, free spirited, and an inspiration to break down..., is just sad. Peter tried to pull him (Micky) through it, but... I wish him and his family well.

Once Micky starting crying I started crying.

It's both heartwarming and heartbreaking to hear Micky struggle to sing Davy's signature Monkee hit. He knew he was going to have trouble doing it before he started and asked the audience to sing along. It makes me cry also, to see how much love he had for his lost friend and band mate.

Ha ha thats a great one of Davys jokes, If you enjoyed the Show tell your friends, if you didn't tell them you saw David Cassidy. I love it.

Micky is a sweet soul. Peter is doing his best to be a strength to Micky, and doing it very well indeed. I wish I had been there, but this video goes a long way toward that. Thank you for posting it.

Gosh does Annabelle one of his daughters, does she ever look like Davy!, I kept looking at her and thinking of Davy, yes it did sound like Micky was emotional in his singing and crying, but also trying to sing, everyone was giving each other hugs and kisses, to comfort each other, Davy was quite the father to his daughters and wife, I felt like giving them hugs to each of them for putting on a great tribute to Davy, I teared up too, it was nice to see his daughters.

Beautiful tribute. I really felt Micky's pain we all loved and adored Davy. This was the first Monkees song my mom taught me and she died 17 days after Davy. God Bless you Micky, Peter and the Davy Jones family our hearts go out to you and our prayers and thoughts are with you.
