I always loved this song,in the moving disco era, this song was so moving, you just couldn't even listen to it without clapping and nodding. Reminds me of my old military days at McGuire AFB in NJ. I am so amazed what you can actually find here on you tube.If its not here, stop looking for ti!

Nice remake of the 1978 Gregg Diamond original version, this is some soulful disco music, an it's quality 70's music, as usual...

Several other artists also recorded this song, including Jackie Moore on Catawba. I believe the original being on the Gregg Diamond & Starcruiser album on Marlin (TK), from whence came the Disco classics "This Side Of Midnight" and "Starcruisin".

@Denny4388 I'm a big fan of David Simmons' old group Neo Experience from C.1976. They had at least two releases on Sahara (Philly).

Dimitri From Paris reworked this pretty nicely on "Don't hold back (Your Love)"

What a memory - I first heard this and briefly thought that it was Teddy P, but I used to mix this this hard in '79/'80 along with "Glide" by Pleasure. We kept the dance floor packed. Many thanks for not "Holdin Back" this joint !

WOW!!! The Legendary David Simmons aka Abu Bakr. He used to take a group of us to school everyday in elementary school (Haddonfield Friends) while he was trying to make it. I remember when he recorded this record. He really helped to cultivate my love of music as a child. I remember him singing all the O'Jays ("Darlin', Darlin' Baby") and Teddy Pendergrass songs as he drove us to school. Thanks for all you added to my early years Abu!
