This song takes me back to my middle school days. I might have been just a kid back then, but this and a few of the other songs that the (now debunk)jazz station I listened to back in the 90s played by him is what made me fall in love with this man's style and artistry! While most of my other peers were listening to contemporary radio music(billboard,etc.), this was my escape from the mainstream madness. Don't get me wrong, I didn't think all of the pop artists were terrible(at that time), there are a few new songs back then I'd jam to(novelties mostly), but after my Dad introduced me to jazz, I was HOOKED!I have the album and I still play it sometimes, it's amazing and a whole lot more!
