HERMOSA Y PRECISA INTERPRETACIÓN LLENA DE FUERZA Y DINAMISMO, DE MATICES INFINITOS, Y COLORES INVISIBLES... UN ABRAZO MAESTRO Y GRACIAS POR TODO LO ENSEÑADO Y COMPARTIDO.

I just listened to Bream's interpretation of this piece. Russell is the only one who delivers an interpretation just as good. :)

love this interpretation... is anyone else distracted by the lag between the video and audio?

He sounds so much better on the Gilbert than on the Damman. This interpretation is phenomenal, too. :)

Excellent, I was used to Ana Vidovic's version which is really fast but David Russell surprised me in a positive way :)

C´mon, what's the purpose of searching mistakes like a detective? What the importance of this grain of sand when it´s close to a sea of good music?

Precisely. Competence is beautiful, but Bream goes beyond that.

you know, it is not that japanese can't play beautiful, it is more that you are afraid of the great big yellow menace ;-)

David russel is in a different league than Sharon Isben. Bream on the other hand is hands down one of the greatest and most expressive musicians of the 20th century.

Russell plays this well enough but this is Julian Bream music and nobody plays the bagatelles like Bream. When one is familiar with Breams recording it is hard to listen to other interpretations ,usually lesser ones.
