What a beautiful song. I heard it in 2004, my boss had it on cd in his car. Ever since, I searched for this song. It was a burned cd so no info. I googled lyrics, nothing. Today, 11 years later, I heard it on am radio, caught the name. I'm very happy now.

love this song. it comes to mind every september! i look for it about every two years- i can remember listening ( by the river!) and believing every word. "deep inside you'll always realize what you saw was never in his eyes, but you can forgive those adolescent lies". It was like an older me, talking a younger me through some heartache. and now older me knows all this to be true. and i have never forgotten any of the boys of autumn- so fun, so cute young teenage love.
