This is brilliant in all sorts of ways. Lindley here covers a great but relatively unknown song, paying absolute fair tribute to the original while putting his own inimitable stamp on the song. This whole album ("El Rayo-X") is filled with brilliance.

@portlandblues Hey Portlandblues, What the fuck do you know about David Lindley anyway? He's never been mean to anyone I know, EVER and we've hung around with him after shows allot (several times less than sober I might add) since the 80's when we were just dumb kids. He's cool as hell, funny, and smart and he bends over backwards for people. He even shows his playing tricks to you if you ask! More probably, you just have a personality clash or maybe an axe to grind. Give it up!
