Strong trio with a first call bassist Peter Washington and the veteran Louis Hayes. Barry Harris's influence is predominant on this track mixed with some Cedar Walton runs that are more usual for Hazeltine. I prefer this tune as a ballad but it works at this tempo as well. Thanks for sharing, mogurin-san!

Love the way the bass and drums underline the whole beat, so steady while the piano develops the song.

Love this old favorite ,chord progressions, new fresh melodic ideas.like at 4:00! But mostly I love that this kind of music is still being played. As Louis Armstrong said many years ago..."there are only 2 types of music...good and bad" and this is certainly a great example of good. You just can't keep good musicians down....!
