@Freddy1979 'Knight Rider' was HUGE in America at the time, and I remember thoroughly enjoying watching every episode with my Dad. But, my mind wonders how much the show, lack of musical choices? & music videos?, played a BIG part in his popularity there. Am I guessing close, or do I just not quite get it, lol.

@ricochetrob I am from Austria and I remember....David was BIGGER than Michael Jackson at the Time in Austria, no Joke from 87 - 91. His Album "David" sold more Copies than "Bad" from MJ. I was at School at the Time and everybody laughs at me when I had my "Europe" or my "KISS" T Shirt on. 20 Years later, whole Austria and also myself are laughing about People, who listened to David Hasselhoff :D

He is one of Germany's biggest selling artists a lot of his songs are pretty good only thing he is not so good. Id love to see Stevie Nicks or Pat Benatar do a cover of this lol I find a lot of his songs are for female rockers still he is not a one hit wonder as he has had many hits
