Gosh that pinch harmonic towards the end of the solo is amazing. Gilmour is still in his prime and then some. He is my number one influence and Schenker, Gibbons, Gary Moore, Leslie West, Kim Thayil, Cantrell, Iommi, Frusciante, Page, Deleo, Sykes and Hendrix. They have taught me so much over the last 15 years.

One thing that always tugs at me when I watch bands play their most famous repertoire 35 years later is that they are probably tired of hearing the music. I'm sure David would much rather perform something he wrote in this decade. Not that it isn't great music, but I wear myself out on Pink Floyd once a year. At least I can take a break and re-discover it.Still. This is a great fucking song.
