They typically played their shows flawlessly during this era. This is one with something interesting. When Waters did The Wall show at the Berlin Wall back in the 90's they had to restart a song because instruments and visuals were synced to a click track. When Floyd performed The Wall live back in the 80's a curtain caught fire and they had to do the same thing. When I saw them they were just flawless. ;-)

Only Dave Gilmour can do this. Guitar goes out of tune. tunes it without any fuss and plays an even more beautiful intro....

Must've been a new string. You can hear it drop tune when he bends it. Probably wasn't stretched out yet. Live tuning done like a pro.

Thank god, now all of us can witness almost 1+ min wonderful solo of WYWH. This always happen to new string if not properly tighten. Yet, he is really good at improvise in any situation. Hail to the King David!

Wow, that's awesome. Even though that happened, he made something beautiful out of it anyway. Another reason why David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist. Brilliant! Absolutely fucking brilliant!

What do you guys mean 'he's only human'? Even G-d (Floydians know) does make mistakes. I believe that one of His rather famous ones is called Justin Bieber...

Amazing, just cruises on out like nothing happened. Superb job Dave. :)

It slipped. If you're not careful the ferrule on the end of the string can lodge under the end of the peg. Under pressure (i.e.playing) it can slip off and hence drop about a semi tone (or more). Can happen to the best guitar tech - even Phil Taylor... Anyway, he's still with Dave, or David, as he likes to be called now... Nobody would get fired for that, particularly not someone who's been with Dave for 30 years or so...
