This album was loaded with great songs. It proved that Pink Floyd with David Gilmour could be more commercial and this is what it would sound like. "About Face," is a minor-masterpiece. The best Gilmour solo album. With the demise of Pink Floyd -- I hope Gilmour continues to record the occasional solo album. Just please, don't go soft on us. I know Roger Waters was the bite in Pink Floyd, but if you have to employ Pete Townshend for the bite -- like you did on "About Face," then get him. We all have just so many more years left before they start laughing at 80 year old rock stars.
