most looping machines now are pedals, since they're used for live situations. It's assumed that the hands are busy. If not that, someone else may have been pushing it.

throughout the video you can see him hitting the loop switch with his foot with a few instruments. and those other ones that you don't see him activating anything could be recording to a master track that he can go back and loop them through a program.

I honestly can't see why people don't believe this is all one take or him doing everything. I saw him play live in Atlantic City about three or four years ago. It was simply amazing. Its not some trick.. he's actually playing everything in this song by himself and its simply the most amazing thing I've ever seen live. He's my number one live performer.
