I had tickets for to take my boyfriend's wee sister to see David at the Glasgow Apollo around this time. Someone stole my bag with the tickets in them - disappointed wee sister. Caught him next time round though. Very good in concert.10 years ago

Cute lil outfit, cheeky sideways glances, killer twinkle in his eyes....oh yes, I remember this man set my teenage heart aflutter. But what strikes me now, some 40 years later, watching this live version, David Essex had an incredibe voice.
