Now this is what american idol is all about. After the season with adam lambert and kris allen in it, the show pretty much went downhill... except for the season with phillip phillips and jessica sanchez; that was pretty good. But the others after the kris allen season, hardly even memorable. Even this season was a joke. Maybe the better singers and musicians are auditioning for the voice, got talent, x factor (though it already ended), and rising star nowadays? Rising star certainly drew in quite the talented crowd. Way better than this year's AI anyway.

I watched it live on TV and was very happy that Cook won. Watching this video on here, knowing that David wouldn't have been there is if it wasn't for his late brother, and seeing how proud Adam was of his little bro, it kind of gets to me. That's the love that all siblings should have for each other. Thank you, Adam, for pushing David to audition. Because of you, the world of music got to see and enjoy all of your brothers talent. RIP Adam Cook.

Those 2 guys were 2 of the classiest contestants I've seen over the years on the talent shows. Cookie and Archie. I loved it when David motioned to the other contestants to join him as he sang his winning song. Class act all the way.
