I find it strange how David specifically said he hadn't performed the song since the Idol tour and people were asking if it was Free Bird. David will never live that one down.

I'm sorry Dave, but he did sing that song since the idol tour before this.  Once at University of Northern Iowa near the beginning of Declaration Tour & again in Denver (I think) when Michael Jackson died.
