David Bowie nails this in my mind . NY has rarely done it live as allegedly its a difficult one to get it right ,timing credible sound etc .Along with "Will to love" and "The Ocean " and a few other NY gems their thankfully very different .

I love Neil Young and David Bowie. I guess some of the idiots posting on here think Bowie is suppose to sound like Neil? That's fucking stupid. I wouldn't expect The Ayatollah Of Rock And Rolla to attempt making his voice sound like Bowie's were he to do a cover. However, I'm not a dumb ass that can't handle a change up pitch version of a Neil Young song without pretending to be offended on his behalf. Fucking tossers.

Everybody has their own opinion - now we know yours. ...I prefer Young's as well, but this one does it justice. It is a great fit for Bowie. ...The fact that the song lives many years past it's creation is what is important. A tribute that any songwriter hopes for and appreciates. It moves me as much now as when I first heard it in 1969.
