Nice try but not quite, there are many contenders for the title, definitely too many to list but masterpieces all. I agree that this one is absolutely great , thrilling to the core, but to call something representative of only one of his many styles "the best" is to place unnecessary limits on genius. That's better, hmmmph! :) Like I said I've been listening from the beginning, they used to play him on AM radio in the 70's. Have you seen the videos of him on the Dinah Shore show? How about him and Iggy Pop on the Dinah Shore show?! I missed it , if only we had had tivo back then... The Reality Tour show in Berkeley knocked me dead, it was ecstasy, all the rebel rebels with their thumbs up their mars bars... Up *until* Reality tour? You must be kidding, the show and album are completely memorable, some of his best and that's saying a helluva lot. Been listening since 1970, he keeps reinventing himself even if his fans can't always keep up.14 years ago
