I love Bowie's ability to keep control in a chaos; it is inherent in this song. Another brillant example for that is the piece "A Small Plot of Land" which derives from the amazing Outside album, too.

How come that the audience is so static on such a performance? I have watched it yesterday with very much better sound, it is pure energy! I think this can hardly be noticed with the relatively low sound on here. What a master this man is, versatile as no one else, brillant in every musical genre.

I cannot believe that this gorgeous, sexy, talented, creative and unique individual is 60 something! The guy doesn't seem to age (well he does, we all do lol) and I honestly don't think he has had much (if anything) done (cosmetic surgery, etc). He is as hot today as he was 20 plus years ago. Love him, love him, love him. And I would marry him in a heartbeat! Lucky, lucky, lucky Iman.

I saw this on ONDEMAND concert tv and it is truly amazing. They had a few songs from 3 different concerts, this one, hours and then a few from Heathen. He is always brilliant and his newest material is every bit as good as anything he's ever done. He only improves with age. : )

for sure! outside is an incredible album! one of my all time favorites! the ambiance and atmospheres created on this album from start to finish is something you don't see often.. (does that make sense??) ;) ..if you know the album, you'll know what i mean!

The clip (much obliged poster) is obviously not as good as the live transmission which was - explosive. Made me sit on the edge of the sofa and stare at the screen while I was beamed direct to Major Tom's capsule wildly spinning towards Earth. The energy levels are very up on the drums and the craft and experience on display were mesmerising. Track down the orginal clip if you can - it's seminal.
