I hate when people blame Southgate, I mean he was one of the younger members of the team, and an older more experience player should of took it but they where to scared of missing

Apparently when I was little (around 3 years old), my dad used to sing me this song to sleep every night and I couldn't sleep without it because it was my favourite song in the world. To this day, I still remember all of the lyrics and love so much. This song is the reason I started playing football. Come on England.

Hhmm, I noticed that they flip a £2 coin, yet they weren't available until shortly after the tournament began. They must have gone to the trouble of having the Royal Mint let them have one before they were released to the public.Given that I may well be the first person to have ever noticed, they needn't have bothered.

Why do they sing "Then one night in ROME we were strong"? Apparently, the text refers to the 1990 semifinal against Germany, at least that is what the picture shows. The match, though, was played in TURIN (and that is why Germans usually refer to it as "Die Nacht von Turin"...). And by the way, watching the match again, you will notice that England was not really that strong....

At least geographically speaking the cup got a little closer to England... So in that sense you should probably thank us Germans. But that's as close as it is ever going to get to your Island.

its a bit wankerish but you gotta compare it with lesser nations who are allowed to be dicks. if our enemies will allow it, you'll see this is not racist.

What have Cook and Moore, Zaitaman, Cleese, Mel and Sue, Miranda Hart, Hugh Laurie, Slattery, Webb, Lee, and Baddiel in common. They are all luvvies largely from Oxbridge, and they are all spectacularly unfunny.
