Not to spam you but I have a concert buddy that I usually go to show with and she records the audio while I record the video. This is the first time I have used the external mic. I should add that not all my videos from this show had the ext mic audio. Camcorder ran out of memory. Complain, fs, gba, altnoy, tosod, sbl had ext mic.

To clarify the camcorder I have did not have a great internal mic but had the dolby digital sound. So I bought an ext mic and that really helped the camcorder to get good audio. Then I had to combine the audio track from camcorder with video of the Canon Powershot S30IS.

I used two cameras. The video is from a Canon S30IS which had 35 optical zoom. It takes great video but audio this close is always distorted and there is no ext mic jack so I bought a Canon HFR 10 camcorder with Dolby digital stereo audio. That camera does not do as well on audio so I bought an external stereo mic for about $100 and that is the source of the great audio. I edited the tracks together. Long story. Sorry. Maybe a super good camcorder would accomplish the same.
