Krist played on a track on "Wasting light" (the newest Foo Fighters record), and has also done some music with Dave on "Sound City" i believe, a documentary about the studio Nevermind was recorded at. But as much as i love Krist, I don't think he was cut out to be a career musician. He was never a songwriter for one thing

To call Courtney Love an artist is generous to her, and insulting to actual artists.

Isn't that worse enough? :) The Foo Fighters are sooo overrated. Most of their "songs" don't have catchy vocal lines, in contrary to Nirvana. 'Marigold' (chosen by Nirvana) is an exception. In Nirvana, Grohl seemed a nice guy to me. Nowadays he behaves as if he's the messiah of rock 'n roll. Oh well, haters gonna hate. :)

Krist didn't really do much. However, you should check out Eyes Adrift. Its a band Krist formed with a couple of the guys from The meat puppets.

Why is Grohl so awesome? I think his drumming on Nirvana's last studio album 'In Utero' has very little inspiration. The previous album still had influence from Nirvana's previous drummer Chad Channing. That drummer wasn't very technical, but - also according to Grohl - had lots of interesting ideas. Grohl used almost the same drums on his version of 'In Bloom'. And does it very good. But on 'In Utero'... oh me, oh my. He's mostly like a cheap drum computer there.
