Oh yeah. One more thing. I'll bet if Kurt Cobain was still around, he would have no problem covering John Lennon's scratchy vocals for this song. In a lot of ways, Kurt was a modern version of John's rebellious side.

This was a good cover of this song but they did not put in Paul's steady yet amazing and brilliant bass line. Ironic since Dave himself commented on how great it was right before playing this song. I'm sure they could have got "someone" to play that. Hell, after 2 days of going over the tablature, "I" can fucking play it. After all, it was done using a pick. So the flurry of notes to this bass line aren't as difficult to play as some may think. It is however more like playing one long guitar melody/solo. So the endurance factor is what makes it tough just to get through the entire song. Paul always said that he'd always approached playing the bass like it was a guitar and that's why he always used a pick. That's also why he's probably the most uniquely melodic bass players ever.

I hate when Ringo points at himself because he's got such a chip on his shoulder for being the extra beatle. What a little div, he tries to laugh it off when Grohl actually does mention him afterwards but he was so quick to try to absorb praise that he'd already made himself look like a willy. Also dave should have rocked this harder!
