Good lord, Mike Smith's powerful raspy vocal on this is as good as anything the British Invasion groups ever put out, Beatles included.

on that recording session, mike must have sang this dead last-cause its enough to fry your vocal cords and even he was straining.

Love this song! This DC5 version beats the 1962 original by The Contours!

My Aunt had this vinyl record in the years of 1964-1965! We used to listen to this on--what is known as a 'Victrola'......

Yeah, so it's a Canadian issue, but just seeing the DC5 on a Capitol swirl label...well 'nuff said...(and no, I am NOT comparing them to the Beatles)

Thanks for the memories. I used to listen to this when I was a kid and I would sing it at the top of my lungs. I'll never forget how my mom's eyebrows raised when she caught me singing it in my room one day. I grew up in the 80's but I just loved this music and still do!

I wish you had a radio show, I'd listen to you all the time! Your voice is one of the classic DJ voices, and your choice of music is the best.

Another great job, Mike...not only is the separation more discrete, but still has the punch of the mono mix
