Amazing songs that hold very near and dear memories. Though they also hold an enormous loss in my life! They were top of the charts when my mom passed, and "The Note" and "I let her lie" somehow found a way to fit the circumstances, in some way from both! I think that The Note played its part because I had taken a letter from the mail to the hospital from her best friend and read it to her, and the song came on shortly after. I Let Her Lie, I think, in a way kind of explains itself to a point. I just spent the last few days grieving as it was 17yrs ago, to the exact dates for Thanksgiving and her passing as this year! Every year, it's always exactly 1 week after my birthday, but thankfully the dates didn't fall the same for 17yrs! Had Thanksgiving dinner with her, and she left us the very next day! Rough week! But you made it a little better! Thank you!

This man's voice is incredible. I can't understand why he does not get the same recognition that Josh Turner, Chris Young and a few others receive. I never hear him on the radio.
