The interviewer is fine. Darwin Deez is inarticulate. But that's ok. His music is great. That's better than Gene Simmons, who gives interesting interviews but his music sucks.

Really? Delightful. I, personally, always wonder why people like you haven't been able to master the English language with a basic level of coherency. This man, like you, is a moron.

very intrusive interview -- it's made me feel bad for him having to deal with the interviewer. Poor guy.. love his songs though!

We are sorry to hear you feel this way. We will take this in consideration. We strive for quality and insight and never mean to hurt anyone. For example, we often hear artists tell us that they were pleasantly surprised by the depth of the interviews FaceCulture makes. Some artists are happy to open up to us and the public, some are not. It varies between artists, but we like to go further and deeper than many other interviewers and artists are free to opt in. Thanks for your comment though!

This interviewer is apalling. Really inconsiderate. He stumbles awkwardly yet determinedly into the most unhappy areas of his 'victims' lives and leaves everyone feeling like an actual assassination has taken place. Can't we just enjoy the music (excellent music in this case) and leave the private life alone. Save the character assassinations for proselytising politicians and religious nuts. There are plently of examples of FaceCulture's hapless work available here and on his website. Awful.

Just examine his body language during this interview, it's pretty clear that he is telling the truth. You're just being kind of an opinionated asshole

Not sure if Darwin's choice of the word depression would necessarily imply the intense, medicated depression everyone seems to be imposing upon him and raging over. He strikes me as a reflective over-thinking type, probably prone to over-examinations and brain sessions, which are apparent in his songs. I don't know the guy, and I'm no shrink but I wouldn't be surprised by someone like him getting into a dark space over a lot of focused philosophical thought. Chill guys, christ.

-sigh- You have your points. I have mine. We wont come to an agreement. Because our opinions are differ completely. I refuse to believe this though. I don't see how he could come up with so many songs if he didn't experience it. I'll look into that book. Thanks for the info. In the long run though this guy's music is amazing. Nothing is going to change that in my mind. I feel his songs have real emotion. You might not but I do. People are different man. You cant believe every conspiracy you hear

Okay I wanted to ignore you but you're asking for it. HE'S JUST TALKING ABOUT DEPRESSION IN AN INTERVIEW. It's an easy trick to get away with (he has you tricked). Depression exists and it has devastating effects, this waste of space isn't depressed, he's trivializing it. Also, it is worth noting that you as listener create the meaning from lyrics as you would from any other medium, read 'death of the author', and then realize that he can write whatever he likes without it relating to himself.

I will watch it in five years. You can't just fake depression. Listen to his music before judging him and saying he is fake. Read his lyrics maybe? I've read the lyrics to atleast 75-80% of this guy's songs. He isn't faking depression. He has been down the road of depression. example: The Bed Song, Red Shift, DNA, & many more songs. He has been through some times obviously you can't just say he is faking his whole characteristics.. He obviously isn't.
