Always Something Video Clip from our debut album (as I Hate Kate) 'Embrace The Curse.' Directed by Fat Monster Films
Not only was this song one of the first three songs we ever released, it was also the first I Hate Kate song to be written. Long before the first released demo, the lyrics were different, thus the title being 'Always Something'...the name still sticks to this day despite the change for our debut US release. Most importantly of all, Always Something is in the key of C.

great tune. always reminds me of when i first lived in Huntington Beach and worked in Costa Mesa... playing i Hate Kate on the way to work, getting used to them before they open for Social D up in Ventura. That feel of the cool Cali air in the mornings in March and the fresh smell all around. Getting on the 55 for a race inland, playing bed of black roses, i;m in love with a sociopath, etc, wondering how awesome it's gonna be live. And it was. So was Social D in Cali.
