"Hey, Darkthrone fans! Remember all those classic '80s NWOBHM bands from the days of yore? ...yeah, well we're like them, but without the singing talent, originality or songwriting. Cheers!" [Cue 10000000/10 review from Pitchfork]

I've always thought Darkthrone were some bad motherfuckers and always will. I like every album they ever put out period. I've been listening to metal for 22 yrs. and I'm not sure if I could put them No.1 as the best metal band ever in my opinion but their damn near close.

A Blaze in the Northern Sky is their best album by far, not nearly as good as their old stuff but you know what? I still like this, it's well done and fun to listen to.
