Love 'em all, In Flames, DT, At the Gates, Children of Bodom and so on. I don't know why people keep saying that DT went shit. If anything, they're one of the few bands that managed to stay somewhat true to their roots. Look at what In Flames have become, look at that, than come back and insult DT's newest stuff.

I prefer The Jester Race to The Gallery. However, there is no denying that DT has stayed truer to their roots than IF. I'd mention Slaughter of the Soul, but I feel that it's a slightly different beast than those two.

why do there always has to be this fighting for who is the king of melodeath...for me In Flames, Dark Tranquility and Children of Bodom are equally the best of 'em all. they all 3 changed their styles with the years for better or worse...while CoB was better in early years, I prefere In Flames' new style and DT has very good songs in both styles but (in my opinion) more songs that aren't so special and sounded quite the same. they all have their unique styles, they all are just amazing...and even if some songs are disappointing, they never suck...how can you call yourself a fan, when all you do is complaining about the other half of the songs of your favorite bandthis all is my opinion and many might even disagree for pulling CoB into this but I don't care...

+aaron harvey. which album sucked when? i mean yes the gallery is a master piece but this is a rare album. none of their other albums were bad though. i mean i would consider damage done to be their worst album and that one still had monochromatic stains, treason wall, single part of two, ex nihlo, format c for cortex...most of the songs still good. but im not sure where this suck is.
