Is it the Satanic/anti-Christian lyrics/imagery? The low-fi quality? The shrieked vocals? There happens to be black metal bands that use clean vocals like Borknagar, Enslaved, and Carach Angren. And the more melodic/symphonic bm bands don't use low-fi quality. There are even non-Satanic/anti-Christian black metal bands too.
