Dark Angel - The Burning of Sodom Live Reunion Show 2002 video free download
FreddyMedal of Metal Refuge TV filmed DARK ANGEL's "reunion" gig in 2002. The clip, which was shot on September 30, 2002 at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, California with KREATOR and DESTRUCTION as the headliners, features the band — guitarists Jim Durkin and Eric Meyer, vocalist Ron Rinehart, drummer Al "Mayhem" Mendez and bassist Jeremy Peto (ex-MORGION) — performing "The Burning of Sodom", the second song off DARK ANGEL's classic second album "Darkness Descends" A handful of Metal Heads may have seen this video, I have the other song dark Angel played that night as well. This version is ripped back from my DVD.

Yeah, the drummer here is like an extremely flimsy generic version of the real thing without any at all the unique qualities of the real thing.When Hoglan does the kick-snare beat, he hits the hi-hat twice per snare instead of just once when he kicks, which is one of the laziest things a good metal drummer can do.All the drum fills are either missing or have been densely stupified in an unforgivably lazy way...well, actually, that's pretty much the in-a-nutshell synopsis of this performance in general, not just the fills.WHERE ARE YOU, GENE!?
