While most of the 'Jesus music' of this era was more rock/folk oriented, DL&CT brought a pop sensitivity and he was a great writer. One thing I never understood was how he ended up signing with RCA - or why RCA signed an overtly Christian songwriter/group. Just seemed like he'd end up on a Benson or Word label. I guess they never tipped the scale to be reissued on CD, at least I've never seen one, only vinyl. Thanks for posting this - great song, great memories.

If you you noticed all the flowers and the floral print shirt on Danny Lee they wanted to send a message to all the hippies that were known as the flower children back in that era the 60's. Through contemporary Christian lyrics they were able to accomplish it.
