No, I love this song, was and am a huge cure fan. This is a pretty good cover. It has the feeling for the song intact. The cure were always about emotion. This cover has some of the emotion.

To be fair, he sang it well. For me it sounds a bit "Simon Cowelly" which is not what The Cure were about. The original would never have worked if done in this way but its interesting how these classics are being re-done. Adelle has done Love Song. Lets not forget The Cure. I would appeal to the younger generation to dig out the originals. You don't know what you missed out on.

@shambolene that is your opinion dude but, this is not a terrible cover. in his cover i can feel the emotion and the passion of the song..put in mind there's nothing good like the original but you need.n't be original to leave your mark.but still i respect your opinion. best cover i just loved it!
