But enough about me already. Who needs one more love song to get them through the night? Who needs a sucker, a rich motherfucker to croon into the mic about a redhead girl with a conman's charm? Who needs a broken heart? Who needs another Sergeant Pepper? Another tearful tune about how good she blows? Her perfume on your clothes? How it was too good to be true? Who needs desperate guys with creative minds who turn dark cloud girls into something silver-lined? Who needs string sections? Sweeping three part harmonies? Who needs a slow dance? Love at first glance? Who needs woe is me? When there's dead mothers and friends that slit their wrist. Who needs kids like me? Broken hearts beat just fine. Broken hearts beat just fine. And even my broken heart will be just fine. Broken hearts beat just fine.

@DeanBerliMN I hope I get the chance to see them live someday. I'd want it to be like they describe in their own song "(D)anger(s);" "...to play for 20 kids, in the basement of a house, kids that are angry and alive, who threaten us with knives!" hahaha

@ANTIanitmetalclub I agree with you 100% man. Dangers makes it extremely clear that they don't give a shit about what people think of them or their music...hence the band not playing very many shows. since they rarely tour or play shows, they don't get very much recognition from the hardcore scene. Supporting lyrical example: "we don't need a microphone, we scream loud enough on our own".

@BradyAdams Intro beat is the only similarity to Milk It by Nirvana. But yeah. It's there. Welcome to music! When music has been happening on instruments that have a limited number of strings and frets and drums and cymbals, you're bound to repeat something that's been done before. Unless you invent a new instrument and playing style, you're always going to be doing something someone else has already done. Get over it and get into the pit and enjoy it like the rest of us.

It's a shame I haven't heard any news from them or anything in the last year.

Wow. You know, not only on this song, but on a bunch of other songs from this album on YouTube, I haven't really seen Dangers getting the respect they deserve. I mostly just see comments about what genre they are, and the scene they're a part of, etc. Do you people seriously not hear how fucking unique and awesome this band, this album in particular is? And the poignancy of those lyrics, I mean, how can people not be talking about em? Tell me someone out there agrees with me.

it's not supposed to be a break beat. it's the name of the song.
