This song reminds me of New York City and particularly some sketchy hotel I stayed in in Times Square called Hotel Carter, place had carpet on the walls covering holes so we renamed in Hotel Carpet. Awesome song, got the album from Virgin store in NYC when visiting there and this band made the theme of the entire visit. I'll always hold that memory for this album

I think I once read that Bon Jovi had done a cover of "The Boys Are Back In Town", although, if they did, I have never heard it. But my point is that I was certainly aware that Bon Jovi has a healthy respect for Thin Lizzy. I was not aware that "Cowboy Song" served as inspiration for "Wanted, Dead or Alive". But, yeah, I can see "Wanted, Dead or Alive" kinda being a part 2 for "Cowboy Song", insofar as the story-line between each song. But Thin Lizzy inspiring Danger Danger? I can see that, too.

Do you know that ''Wanted Dead or Alive'' is also inspired by Thin Lizzy?Jon Bon Jovi & R.Sambora are big fans of Thin Lizzy, they said that ''Cowboy Song'' was the inspiration for the lyrics.Maybe something similar happenend here ;-)

Now you're talking my language. I can certainly see the comparison to Thin Lizzy's "Southbound" (but not so much with "Cowboy Song"). Personally, Thin Lizzy is my all-time favorite. Objectively, however, I still fail to see any comparison between ANY Danger Danger song (from the Ted Poley era) and Country music as a whole. But you, my friend, made a great observation with your Thin Lizzy reference. Well played, sir!!!

Sounds more like this was inspired by Thin Lizzy(''Cowboy Song'',''Southbound'' etc.)

Umm... NO!!! This is what is called "Melodic Rock". "AOR" is another acceptable term. Hell, you could even call it a "Power Ballad"... But a "Country Feel"?! Far from it!!! Saying this has a "Country Feel" is a bit like saying Green Day is "Heavy Metal".
