Located at 7214 Airline Dr. on the north side Houston, TX. Dance Town U.S.A. was a big dance hall where country stars of the day would play and the guys and gals could drink and dance the night away. Well known acts like Johnny Bush, Gene Watson, Gary Stewart, Buck Owens, just to name a few, played. I hung out there starting in 1978 until the early 90's when the dances stopped. Dance Town is still located at the same location but is now a bingo hall. Here is just one song you were gonna hear no matter what band was playing that night.

Johnny Bush is the king of honky tonk music. One of the greatest country vocalists in the world beside Ray Price, Charley Pride and George Jones.

Kinda misleading, isn't it, since this cut is studio and not from the 1980 "Orange Album" recorded at Dance Town U.S.A .
