This guy is good; the Dylan comparisons are not unfounded. The problem is, he was born too late. He would've been well recieved in the early 60's, when folk music was relevant.

Dylans songs rarely had any real depth. Bern's songs have little subtlety, but remarkable depth. Musically, Dylans songs were miles ahead of Berns.

man, Dan is amazing, and has written so many great songs, some of my faves are "Jail" "Rome" and this one !!! it is too bad he is not more well known, and people seem to dismiss him as just a Bob Dylan wannabe, while I admit he has some similarities to his voice, he still writes great songs with meaning.
