See, I love Gorillaz I own all their CDs, some posters, some vinyl and some their DVDs. Saying that I can also safely say I do not think Goillaz when I think of this song. This is Damon Albarn, pure and simple. I think part of the original reason why Damon and Jaime didn't release who they were when they were touring for the Gorillaz CD was because they didn't want that music to define them. But now it has. I think of 2D as 2D and Damon as Damon. Completely different entities and completely different music. It must get really tiring being bugged about one facet of who you are constantly. 10 years ago
