I'm really torn with this *Dagoba* track. The album *Poseidon* is tons of fun, musically, most of the time jaw-droppingly so. But I really have a problem with vocalist Shawter when he belts in his "singey-shoutey" voice. Which he does here. All the time. And the chorus for this song really is one of those tired, clichéd "let's drop to half tempo and get all emotional for a bit."But I can overlook all that because the music is just so goddamn good. It sounds like a diving bell crashing into the ocean, going fifteen-thousand feet below the surface, and imploding on itself over and over again. Just adding that innocent little bell-sound to the main riff is enough to make me play this song, over and over again. And my god, what a riff."4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... do it. Dive."15 years ago
